- Case Management Attorney or Veterans Law Specialist
Minimum Qualifications: JD, preferred, licensed to practice in a jurisdiction which will qualify the attorney to be admitted to the US Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims bar within six months of employment. For a non-attorney practitioner, eligibility to meet the Court’s rules to practice. Experience with Administrative Law or Veterans Law. Appellate litigation experience highly preferred. Veteran Preferred. Military personnel experience also an advantage. Deadline for application is December 31, 2012. The intern will contact volunteer attorneys and clients who received a remand from the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in 2010 or 201 to collect information, prepare statistics reporting to the success rate of the cases, and other data that may prove useful to the Program.
